Terra IóN began with a simple but demanding idea: to create wines that are deeply connected to their place and to do so in a way that restores the land.
From the very beginning, TERRA IóN was conceived as a long-term project. A working vineyard built around biodynamic and regenerative principles.

Biodynamic farming at Terra IóN is not a label, it is a framework for thinking. We treat vineyard, soil, forest, water, and surrounding terraces as one living system.
We work organically, encourage biodiversity, rebuild soils, and accept lower yields in exchange for healthier vines and greater balance. Cover crops, living soils, and careful handwork shape the rhythm of the year.
The Land
Our vineyards are rooted in limestone soils, formed over millions of years. These calcareous layers are poor in nutrients but rich in structure, forcing the vines to grow slowly and deeply.
Combined with altitude, wind, and Mediterranean light, this creates natural freshness, tension, and clarity in the grapes.
Our wines are defined by energy rather than power. Freshness rather than weight. Length rather than volume.
They reflect limestone soils, Mediterranean light, and the quiet rhythm of the Serra de Tramuntana. Wines made for the table, for conversation, and for time.
The Winemaker

Domenic began his path in renowned VDP wineries in Germany, gained hands-on experience in California, and studied viticulture and oenology at Geisenheim University.
Terra IóN brought together these worlds: German precision, international perspective, and the realities of Mediterranean farming. What emerged is not a concept winery, but a place built through work, observation, and patience.
Together we care for life, people, and land through winemaking in the Tramuntana, today and tomorrow.
Co-Founder, General Manager and Winemaker
Domenic Amat Kreft was born in 1996 in Michigan and grew up in Rheinhessen, Germany, in a third generation winemaking family. He studied at Hochschule Geisenheim University, one of the leading schools for viticulture and oenology. At Terra IóN he leads viticulture, the cellar and daily operations.
Co-Founder
Jan-Hendrik Goldbeck is co-CEO of the Goldbeck Group. He is co-founder and shareholder of Terra IóN.
Head of Hospitality and Operations
Annika Bolduan was born in 2001 and studied International Wine Business at Hochschule Geisenheim University. She joined Domenic Amat Kreft's wine project amatwine in 2020 and moved to Mallorca in 2023 to build Terra IóN with him. At Terra IóN she leads hospitality, tastings and events, the Paradise Club and day to day operations.
